AlarmSecurity and Telco Field Technician (Oacoma, SD)
The ideal candidate will possess experience with Alarm and Security Systems and will also have any required licenses to do Alarm and Security work as required by your state.
Must have a fun, positive, energetic attitude, with a self-starter approach to work. They must be highly motivated and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. This person should be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
This position is responsible for SOW such as:
replacing existing security alarm panels and keypads with new ones that connects a location to the Central Station. Standardizing locations and provide communication via highspeed ethernet, and 4G wireless back-up. Review operations with a MOD, test all services, clean work areas, and remove all install related packing materials from location.
Other responsibilities include providing technical guidance and support to client users; troubleshooting problems; performing upgrades; back-up/recovery and security procedures; miscellaneous technical and administrative tasks to support a Microsoft Windows and PC environment. Requirements include:
Hands-on experience in Alarm/Security systems a must!
Also looking for Experience with:
o Windows XP and Window7 installation and troubleshooting
o Troubleshooting basic networking issues
o Cabling/Phone, Data wiring
o BitLocker and similar encryption software a plus
o Experience with Macs and Linux a plus
o A+ Certification a plus
